Welcome everyone to the GREAT PLAINS POLKAFEST!
It is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, August 25th and 26th at the AMVETS Club, 2402 Railroad Avenue, Bismarck. Admission price is ten dollars per day with an extra charge for the food being served.
Sausage, knoephla, & kraut is being served Saturday evening between 5:30-8:00 for a fee of $6.50. Entertainment on Saturday is Dennis Ficor from Canada, the Queen City Band, and Dakota Rangers.
Sunday Polka Mass begins at 9:45 (no tickets required to attend the Mass). A breakfast buffet is being served after the Mass for a fee of $5.50. Soup & Sandwich served from 4-7:00 for a fee of $3.50. Entertainment on Sunday is Dennis Ficor from Canada, Marv Zander, and the Dakota Rangers.
Sheldon Babeck will be a guest on the Happy Hour Sunday, August 19th from 1-2 to give you more information about this annual Bismarck event! The Happy Hour will be broadcast from the AMVETS on Sunday, August 26th from 11:00 - 2:00. We are looking forward to meeting and greeting all the people for the Great Plains Polkafest in Bismarck!

Clarissa Lynn has strong roots in North Dakota coming from a small, family farm operation north of Stanton or just a little south of Pick City by the Lake Sakakawea area where she did more bale haulin' and cow milkin' than fishin'; however, Clarissa grew up in a musical family loving and learning to dance to old time and country music.
