In Scotland, a teenager reluctant to clean up his bedroom is awfully glad he did. After being nagged by his mom, 19-year-old Ryan Kitching finally cleaned up his bedroom and in the process found 12 old lottery tickets in his drawer. He nearly threw them away but then decided to take them to a supermarket just to see if any were winners. You guessed it -- one ticket matched five numbers and won him over $50,000! Ryan said, "I am totally speechless-- it was the happiest day of my life easily." He added, "Next time my mom nags me to tidy my room I won't need telling twice."
