FARGO, N.D. (AP) _ Former presidential nominee John McCain's appearance in North Dakota next month will be a rally outside a Fargo home.
The U.S. senator from Arizona will speak at a June 9 rally to be held at the home of Drs. Ahmed and Kay Abdullah. It's part of the North Dakota GOP ``roundup.''
McCain, the 2008 Republican nominee in the race for the presidency, lost to Barack Obama in the general election.
The weekend festivities begin the previous night with a membership party and karaoke night at the Fargo Holiday Inn.
Earlier Saturday at the hotel, the Republicans will host a politics and media panel and give instruction on get-out-the-vote tools.
