FARGO, N.D. (AP) _ A Fargo school building was locked down and then evacuated after separate reports of a bomb threat and a shot fired.
Superintendent Rick Buresh said that Agassiz School officials received a bomb threat Tuesday afternoon.
Lt. Joel Vettel says a short time later, police received a report of a shot fired in the area, not in the school, and officials initially reacted under the assumption there was a shooter in the area.
The school was evacuated and parents were told they can pick up students at South High School, where they were taken by bus.
