FRYBURG, N.D. (AP) _ A company planning the first oil patch crew camp in western North Dakota's Billings County says it should be finished by late August.
The Billings County School Board voted a year ago to sell seven acres to Louisiana-based Energy Resource Group, which plans to turn the old Fryburg school into a 200-unit lodging facility for workers. The County Commission approved a permit last July giving the company the go-ahead to build.
ERG Chief Operating Officer Marc Barra said that the company's plans ran into some snags last year but that ERG plans to renew the county permit and secure a construction contract.
