JAMESTOWN, N.D. (AP) _ A fiber optic line has been cut near Valley City, causing a disruption to telephone service in the area.
Century Link spokeswoman Carrie Amann said that a fiber optic line was cut by a contractor working between Valley City and Jamestown just before 12 p.m. Thursday.
The cut is disrupting service for Daktel and Century Link customers, including Stutsman County 911.
The officials do not know when service will be restored.
