A Dickinson businesswoman has been
appointed to the advisory board of a global leadership group.
Kristin Hedger says the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition
promotes diplomacy and market development to fight terrorism and
promote stability in smaller countries.
It is based in Washington. Its members include several former
U.S. secretaries of state and defense.
Hedger was recently appointed to a business advisory council
that is part of the leadership coalition. Its chairman is the chief
executive of Land O' Lakes in Minnesota.
Hedger is vice president of Killdeer Mountain Manufacturing. It
makes equipment for the aerospace industry. The company has
operations in Dickinson, Hettinger, Killdeer and Regent.
Hedger says that
North Dakota's expertise in agriculture and energy can be useful on
a global scale.
