BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) _ The next session of the North Dakota Legislature will be easier to watch online.
Starting with the 2013 session in January, archived videos of the House and Senate's daily floor debates will be posted on the Legislature's website.
Cameras will be installed in the Capitol committee rooms where the North Dakota House and Senate appropriations committees meet. Those committees write the two-year budget for state government.
The videos will be segmented to help people look for debates on specific bills.
A committee of North Dakota legislative leaders agreed Tuesday to spend $110,000 on equipment, software and operating services for the project.
In the past, video from the Legislature's House and Senate floor sessions has been shown online while the debates were going on. But the video wasn't archived.
