The state Transportation Department says

construction is nearing completion on a temporary bypass northwest

of Williston.

Officials have pegged the project at $10 million and say it's

aimed at alleviated truck traffic through the busy oil boom town.

Officials say the construction should be completed in early

August.

Other bypass projects are planned for Watford City, Dickinson,

Alexander and Killdeer.
