Police say that a man found dead in a Fargo
home appears to have killed a 51-year-old woman before shooting
himself.
Lt. Joel Vettel says police responded shortly after 8 a.m.
Tuesday after receiving a call about an apparent suicide. Vettel
says a relative had gone into the home and discovered the body of
54-year-old Daniel Martin Williams. Officers who responded found
the body of Linda Marie Williams.
Vettel declined to specify the relationship between Daniel
Williams and Linda Williams. Neighbor Lois Daby tells the
Associated Press that the two were married and lived at the home on
16 1/2 Street South for well more than a decade.
Vettel says the investigation is ``very preliminary'' and that
both bodies are being transported to Bismarck for autopsies.
