Hunters can apply online for one of the
2,200 licenses being made available for North Dakota's 2012 tundra
swan season.
Online applications can be made via the state Game and Fish
Department's website, at http://www.gf.nd.gov . Paper applications
also will be available this month at Game and Fish offices, county
auditors and license vendors.
The statewide tundra swan hunting season begins Sept. 29 and
runs through Dec. 30. It is open to resident and out-of-state
hunters.
