The MacLean shooting range located near the MacLean boat ramp south of Bismarck will be closed Aug. 13-15 for survey work needed for next year’s reconstruction of the area. A closed sign will be posted at the entrance.
Next summer, the range will be relocated slightly to the north of the existing area, and include a shotgun range, handgun range, and a 100- and 200-yard rifle range. Construction is scheduled for July and August, with the range slated to open in September.
MacLean Bottoms is two miles south of ND Highway 1804, approximately 15 miles southeast of Bismarck.
