The state Department of Mineral Resources
reports on Tuesday that North Dakota oil producers pumped an
average of about 660,000 barrels of oil each day in June.
Agency spokeswoman Alison Ritter says that's up from about
639,000 barrels in May.
Ritter says there were 7,352 producing wells in June. That's
more than 160 wells than in April.
North Dakota drillers produced almost 20 million barrels of oil
in June. That's up from 11.5 million barrels for the same month a
year ago.
