BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) _ North Dakota Agriculture Commissioner Doug
Goehring has scheduled a public hearing on proposed rule changes
for dairy inspections, meat and poultry inspections and anhydrous
ammonia programs.
The hearing to gather comments from the public is at 1 p.m.
Tuesday, Dec. 4, in the Agriculture Department's conference room in
the state Capitol in Bismarck.
Goehring says the proposed changes to dairy, meat and poultry
inspection rules harmonize them with federal standards. The
proposed rule changes also include the addition of a risk
management program for agricultural anhydrous ammonia facilities.
