BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) _ Parts of northern North Dakota could see a
foot or more of snow by the end of the weekend.
The National Weather Service says a storm is bearing down on the
Northern Plains from the Rockies, and will hit in two waves. The
first wave is expected to hit northwest and north central North
Dakota on Thursday night and continue into Friday, and the second
wave late Friday through Sunday morning is forecast to dump more
snow.
Southern areas in the west and central parts of North Dakota
could see snow, sleet and freezing rain. The wintry mix could
extend into parts of South Dakota.
