BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) _ Republicans in the North Dakota House and

Senate will be picking their floor leaders for the 2013 Legislature

this week.

Senate Republican leader Rich Wardner says he'll be seeking

another term as majority leader. In the House, incumbent Republican

leader Al Carlson of Fargo is running for another term.

Neither Wardner nor Carlson has an announced challenger.

On the Democratic side, House Democratic leader Jerry Kelsh of

Fullerton is running for another term.

Senate Democrats will have to pick a new leader to replace Ryan

Taylor of Towner. Taylor ran unsuccessfully for governor, and he

won't be back in the Senate next year.

Assistant Senate Democratic leader Mac Schneider of Grand Forks

says he hasn't decided whether to run for the top job.
