BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) _ A North Dakota man has been sentenced to
nearly three years in prison on an illegal weapons charge.
Michael Gourneau, of Belcourt, was charged with possession of a
firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon. He pleaded guilty in
June.
Authorities say the 32-year-old Gourneau was arrested after he
threatened people in a Belcourt home and fired a revolver into the
floor.
Gourneau had been previously convicted of one felony charge in
North Dakota and two felony charges in Minnesota.
U.S. District Judge Patrick Conmy sentence Gourneau to two years
and nine months in prison.
