BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) _ Residents across North Dakota will get an
opportunity next week to discuss fish and wildlife issues with
officials from the state Game and Fish Department.
The agency has scheduled its fall advisory board meetings. They
begin Monday in Sheyenne and Bismarck, followed by Tuesday meetings
in Stanley and Grand Forks, Wednesday meetings in Hankinson and
Dickinson and Thursday meetings in Jamestown and Crosby. Details
can be found at http://www.gf.nd.gov .
The governor appoints eight Game and Fish advisers. They each
represent a section of the state, serving as liaisons between the
department and the public. The advisory board meetings are held
each spring and fall to give the public a chance to discuss
outdoors issues and ask questions of the district advisers and
department officials.
