GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) _ Grand Forks officials say bus ridership
in the city is on pace to set an all-time record.
City spokesman Dale Bergman says there should be more than
375,000 riders by the end of the year if the current trend holds
up.
There were about 329,000 riders last year.
Bergman says the increase is due in large part to a jump in the
number of adults who are riding the bus.
More than 133,000 adults have boarded busses this year, compared
to about 110,000 for all of last year.
