CHAFFEE, N.D. (AP) _ Authorities have arrested three suspects
and are looking for a fourth after two women said they were
assaulted in a home invasion-style armed robbery in the eastern
North Dakota town of Chaffee.
Cass County Sheriff's Sgt. Tara Morris says that the residents called authorities after
the men broke in to the home about 10:30 p.m. Sunday. She says the
women suffered bumps and bruises and refused medical treatment. She
says two children in the home were upstairs and weren't affected.
Morris says the suspects took cash and valuables from the home.
She says they had a weapon but she didn't say what it was.
The suspects were arrested in Fargo about 2 a.m. Monday. Morris
says the victims knew at least some of them.
