BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) _ Governor Jack Dalrymple (DAHL'-rimp-ul) has directed all North Dakota government agencies to fly the U.S. and state flags at half-staff in honor of a National Guard member who was killed earlier this month in Afghanistan.
Sergeant 1st Class Darren Linde was one of two North Dakota National Guard members killed in action on December 3rd. Linde's funeral is Tuesday in Sidney, Montana. The funeral for Specialist Tyler Orgaard will be Thursday in Bismarck.
Dalrymple is directing the flags to fly at half-staff from sunrise to sunset Tuesday to honor Linde.
