FARGO, N.D. (AP) _ A popular Grand Forks restaurant that has been a hangout for University of North Dakota students is coming to Fargo in search of North Dakota State University students.

The Red Pepper is known for its non-authentic Mexican food and its submarine sandwich called a grinder. The restaurant has shipped grinders to every state.

Construction of the Fargo restaurant started Monday. It will be located in a mall near NDSU and the Fargodome.

Red Pepper owner Jeff Tellman said that he considered several locations in Fargo, but liked the idea of being close to NDSU.
