BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) _ Thirty-six rural hospitals in North Dakota are receiving money to help improve the quality of care for patients.
The funding comes from the University of North Dakota Center for Rural Health's Small Hospital Improvement Program.
Nearly $279,000 will be distributed among the hospitals.
The hospitals receiving funding include the Sakakawea Medical Center in Hazen, Jacobson Memorial Hospital in Elgin, Linton Hospital, Wishek Community Hospital and Garrison Memorial Hospital.
