DICKINSON, N.D. (AP) _ The Theodore Roosevelt Center in Dickinson is expanding its digital library.
The center's online archive was launched in 2011 and features about 18,000 items, including writings, photographs, political cartoons from Roosevelt's presidency and even Teddy's childhood diaries.
The center's project manager, Sharon Kilzer, says the center's digital archive is quickly growing. Officials have fielded requests for information from filmmakers and history-focused TV channels.
The center is adding nearly 300 new films to its archives as well.
Kilzer says the center's goal is to reach not only Roosevelt fans and history buffs but also regular people curious about the former president's time in the Badlands.
