FARGO, N.D. (AP) _ The North Dakota Department of Transportation has issued a no-travel advisory for eastern portions of the state.
The advisory includes Fargo, Grand Forks, Devils Lake and Pembina. The Department of Transportation says blowing snow is causing near zero visibility in the area.
Plows have been pulled from working because it is unsafe and will resume working once conditions are better.
A travel alert is in effect for Wahpeton and surrounding areas because of high winds, blowing snow and scattered ice. Motorists can still travel in the area, but should be aware that conditions could change rapidly.
