MINOT, N.D. (AP) _ A former Three Affiliated Tribes law enforcement officer accused of harboring two men who escaped from a New Town jail has been sentenced to probation.
Jessica Folden was charged in federal court with hindering law enforcement. The charge carries a maximum penalty of one year in prison.
Authorities say Jake White Body and Brandon Young Wolf were at Folden's residence after they escaped from the Gerald Tex Fox Justice Center in New Town last May.
Folden allegedly lied to officers about the whereabouts of the fugitives and refused to let officers search her residence for several hours.
The two suspects were eventually apprehended.
U.S. District Judge Daniel Hovland sentenced Folden to 18 months of probation.
