FARGO, N.D. (AP) _ The horse racing season in Fargo is getting shorter.
Officials say the North Dakota Horse Park track will hold racing on three days this year, over the weekend of July 19-21.
The facility had four days of racing over two weekends last summer.
Wes Heinert, vice president of Horse Race North Dakota, which operates the horse park, says the state Racing Commission granted the track a third of its requested funds.
Heinert says he was hoping to have racing three weekends this year.
