North Dakota woman charged stabbing man to death

FORT YATES, N.D. (AP) _ A Fort Yates woman is accused of stabbing her boyfriend's cousin to death.

30-year-old Morning Star Brown has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of Jarrett Two Bear.

Brown is scheduled to appear at a preliminary hearing and detention hearing on Thursday morning in federal court in Bismarck. She is now in the custody of the Burleigh County Detention Center.

According to an affidavit from the FBI agent, Brown, Two Bear and Brown's boyfriend started drinking Sunday morning. By mid-afternoon, Brown reportedly became intoxicated and argumentative.

Brown allegedly stabbed Two Bear and he died during a flight to a Bismarck hospital. Brown also reportedly tried to cut her wrists after the incident.
