FARGO, N.D. (AP) _ The Fargo Park Board has decided to make the city's discounted golf passes more inclusive.
The unanimous decision by the park board comes after park officials denied a family pass to a lesbian couple legally married in Iowa.
The board's decision changes the name of the discounted pass from ``family'' to ``household,'' and a couple no longer needs to be married to get one.
Board President Joel Vettel says the focus is to get more people involved in making use of the city's parks. He says the Board is not about defining marriage, but about parks and recreation.
The couple who were denied a pass says they were elated the Board decided to change the passes.
